It’s been a while since we featured the work of Bathstone Garden Rooms, but they have been busy creating contemporary oak garden rooms, one of the biggest projects of the year is this ‘L’ shaped garden room which incorporates a wet room.
Bathstone have cleverly designed a garden room with all the low maintenance properties and beauty of a oak board cladding and posts, but with a softwood timber framework and flat roof that cost significantly less than its oak frame counterparts.
Importantly for Bathstone’s client, it was designed to be built as a Permitted Development, not requiring Planning Permission, although at over 30msq it was required to meet Building Regulations Standards.
One of the building’s more striking features is the roof overhang above the front of the building, below which are fitted a series of down-lights. This is a very popular design feature which Bathstone often incorporate in their buildings. This will look fantastic when lit up in the evening, and to make it even better, they are controlled remotely from the main house!
If you would like to combine all the qualities of contemporary garden room design with the beauty and substantial feel of an oak clad building look no further than Bathstone Garden Rooms!
