There are lots of great standard garden room designs on the market, but there are times when bespoke design is called for, particularly if you have an unusual shaped plot!
Sanctum Garden Studios were recently challenged with the task of creating a garden room in a long, narrow plot along the side of a clients house. After lengthy discussions with the customer, a 1.6m x 3.0m bespoke size was designed and installed. Two additional windows and a single door were added – the bespoke frames matched the customer’s windows in her house. The guttering was placed on the 1.6m side with the door (this is normally placed on the rear) and as the 3.0m side was right up the boundary, eco boards were used to clad this area.
The client had this to say about her new garden room:
We are so pleased with the our new office from Sanctum Garden Studios, Gary and the guys were so efficient and I must say the workmanship is fantastic. We had a really small space to work with and wanting to match the windows on our house too has worked really well. They did it all in the two days as specified and have made it exactly as we wanted. We are looking forward to moving my husband’s desk etc in and for him to be able to work in it away from the noise of our children! I would highly recommend Sanctum Garden Studios they have been brilliant from start to end, Sam at the early stages really went out of her way to come up with what we wanted and Gary has exceeded our expectations with the actual build, thank you.
Just shows a garden room can be created in the tightest of spaces! Visit the Sanctum Garden Studios website for more information about their work.
