When exploring your garden room options, you'll want to check out Sanctum Garden Studios work. They have three popular ranges that encompass different price points, sizes and design styles.
The three ranges that Sanctum Garden Studios offers are:
Hampton - The Hampton range is one of the best priced insulated garden rooms on the market. The feature wall of glazing offers a great connection between indoor & outdoor spaces.
QuadPod - The QuadPod range comes in two styles: Studio & Office. Available in four sizes, the QuadPod includes many popular design features - as standard.
Contemporary - If you are looking for a garden room that can be customised to your needs, then the Contemporary range will fit the bill. It comes in a range of standard sizes, but the Sanctum team can manufacture to specific dimensions too.
The three ranges are available across the UK; let's look at each range in more detail:
The Hampton Range
The Hampton range is the ideal choice if you are limited on space and have a tight budget. With prices starting at £7,995, including VAT and installation, it is one of the best priced insulated garden rooms on the market.
The Hampton comes in two standard sizes, 2.4m x 2.4m and 3m x 2.4m. Both sizes are less than 2.5m high, so you have the maximum flexibility in positioning the Hampton under the Permitted Development rules.
A key design feature of the Hampton is the wall of floor to ceiling glazing on the front elevation. You can choose if the door is positioned in the centre of the glazing configuration or to either side.
Low maintenance finishes have been chosen for the Hampton. The rear and side elevations feature a treated weatherboard available in dark grey or stone colours. On the side walls, there is the option to add Cedar cladding which looks particularly stylish when mixed with the dark grey uPVC door and window option.
Moving inside, the walls of the Hampton are left bare for you to make your own mark on the room. We recently wrote about a garden bar created in a Hampton building, and the owners finished the walls in a lovely shade of blue. The MDF boards that line the walls internally take paint well.
Sanctum Garden Studios can install the Hampton in just a day. You may like to watch this video of a build. The Hampton is pre-wired electrically, so it is just a case of getting an electrician to connect the electrics to the mains supply and then your new room is ready to use.
The QuadPod Range
The QuadPod is a stylish small garden room option that incorporates many popular design features, as standard. Available in two styles, each style is available in four standard sizes - the 2.4m x 1.8m option being one of the smallest garden rooms on the market.
The QuadPod Studio & QuadPod office both feature a cubed roofline which adds to the sleek contemporary look. The QuadPod is under 2.5m tall, so you have maximum flexibility in positioning it under the Permitted Development rules.
The QuadPod Studio features a sizeable full-height window on the front elevation and a glazed door on the side wall. The QuadPod Office features a rectangular window perfectly positioned at desk height on the front wall and a glazed door on a side wall.
The doors and windows are Anthracite Grey uPVC which mixes well with the Western Red Cedar cladding used on the front and door walls. The other two walls are finished with a treated weatherboard in a dark grey finish.
Internally, like the Hampton range, the walls of the QuadPod are lined with MDF and left for you to make your mark decoratively. A durable laminate floor with white skirting boards is fitted as standard.
The Sanctum Garden Studios team can install the QuadPod range in just a day. All that is left to do is to get an electrician to connect the pod's electrics to the mains supply, and you can start using your new room.
The Contemporary Range
You may have picked up on the fact that Sanctum Garden Studios like to give their customers choice when buying a garden room. With the Contemporary range, there are many additional options to customise the design to your needs and tastes.
The Contemporary range comes in two styles the Contemporary Overhang, where the roof extends beyond the walls to create an attractive eaves detail. With the Contemporary Cubed option, the walls extend up to the roofline - this style is considered a more modern look by some people.
Externally the Contemporary range is clad in Western Red Cedar which is not only beautiful but a low maintenance choice.
With the Contemporary range, you can choose the style and layout of the doors and windows. You can read more about the specification and options to customise the Contemporary range here. You might also like to watch the timelapse of a build, which shows what an efficient process it is.
The Contemporary range is available in standard sizes but can also be manufactured to custom dimensions from 2.4m x 1.8m or smaller if required.
