With more people working from home, there is a lot of interest in small garden office designs. We recently found 5 super mini garden office designs. One of the options we found was the QuadPod Micro by Sanctum Garden Studios.
At 2.4m wide by 1.8m deep, that's 8ft x 6ft; it is a compact home office pod that is not going to steal too much space from your garden. The QuadPod range also comes in two larger sizes: 2.4m x 2.4m and 3m x 2.4m if you are looking for a slightly bigger office.
All QuadPod sizes are 2.5m high, so they are Permitted Development friendly. This means that in most cases, the QuadPod can be built without the need for a planning application.
The QuadPod Micro comes with its own foundation system, this combined with the prefabrication of the panels which takes place in the Sanctum workshops means that the office goes together quickly. The building can be installed in just a day!
The floor, walls and roof are all insulated, and the door and window double glazed. This combination creates an office pod that will be a comfortable place to work all year round.
A mix of exterior claddings
The front wall and the side wall that includes the door, are both clad in Western Red Cedar which as we can see from these photos has a rich reddish-brown colouring.
The other two walls are finished in a low maintenance grey weatherboard. Mixing cladding finishes like this has become a popular feature in garden office design, allowing you to focus expensive finishes like Cedar on the most visible walls.
The QuadPod Micro starts at £10,995 and is available for installation throughout the UK.
