It’s important to be aware that not all garden room companies offer the option of adding a cloakroom or shower room. Among those that do, the approach can vary considerably. Some suppliers will form the internal layout — creating partition walls and allowing space for future use — but leave the plumbing and sewerage connections to be arranged separately. Others offer a fully managed, turnkey service, taking responsibility for the layout, plumbing, connections, and the associated Building Control sign-off where required.

In practical terms, full shower rooms are almost always connected to the mains supply, which involves additional groundworks and increases the overall cost. Simple cloakrooms can sometimes be designed using off-grid systems, but this is typically a secondary option offered by a smaller number of specialists and is generally limited to basic WC installations rather than full bathrooms.
