This project involved creating an outdoor office for a video marketing professional. The brief was for a modern, professional workspace suitable for hosting clients.
Personalised Design Process
Swift Unlimited begins every project with a free site visit, a crucial stage in the design process. This visit allows their designers to fully understand the client’s goals and preferences. From the client’s perspective, it’s an opportunity to experience Swift Unlimited’s expertise and approach to significant projects.
Following the site visit, the team provided detailed design options and specifications. The chosen design was a 5m x 5.5m cedar-clad office with dark grey aluminium bi-fold doors and windows. The roof design featured a 300mm overhang, creating an attractive eaves detail along the front elevation.
Maximising Space and Functionality
Partition walls were used to create a dedicated corner space for a compact shower room, complete with a corner shower, toilet, and basin. To maximise the room’s efficiency, a sleek pocket door was installed, allowing the door to slide seamlessly into the wall.
Next to the shower room, Swift Unlimited incorporated a bespoke coffee station, designed to the client’s specifications. A sliding door provides access to the coffee-making facilities and a practical storage area.
