Turnkey project
Executive Garden Rooms supply their buildings on a turnkey basis. This means they handle the whole project from initial design right through to the connections to the services. Not all companies offer this type of project managed service, which allows you to sit back and watch the building take shape.
Part of the turnkey service that Executive Garden Rooms offers, includes the application for planning permission and building control approval. Any garden bedroom building in the garden needs to obtain both planning and building control approval.
The spacious bedroom has space for a double bed and storage. There is also space for a sofa bed for the grandchildren.
The room has a very light and airy feel. The combination of the white walls and ceiling and laminate wooden floor have been enhanced by the addition of a clever, wrap around glazing section on the front wall. The bespoke section of glazing incorporates a set of French doors and floor to ceiling windows. We like how narrow windows have been used to wrap the glazing around the corner, rather than just use a straight section of glazing. Blinds have been fitted, so the guests can control both the light and privacy levels in the room.
Spacious shower room
A spacious shower room leads off the bedroom. A Mira shower has been fitted along with toilet, vanity unit and towel rail. The floor in the shower room has been tiled with porcelain tiles.
As part of their turnkey service, Executive Garden Rooms handled the groundwork’s needed to connect the water, foul waste and electricity. They also liaised with the local Building Control department to have the work signed off.
The garden bedroom will be a comfortable place to stay all year round. Thanks to the 90mm of insulation in the floor, 140mm in the walls and 100mm in the roof structure.
