We first featured this 7.2m x 3.5m two roomed artist studio in May 2018 and were delighted when a follow up photo hit our inbox. The owners have now landscaped the area around the studio, enhancing the studios connection with the garden it sits within.
As we can see from these before and after photos, the studio by Sanctum Garden Studios is the central point of the new garden design.
Sanctum Garden Studios clients each wanted to have their own art studio. One option would have been to build two separate studios, but they decided to build one large building and divide the space into two equally sized rooms.
Each room has its own access via a set of French doors. These doors combined with the floor to ceiling glazed panels on either side, create a great connection with the garden. There is also a connecting door set into the partition wall that divides the two rooms. This is a half glazed door so that the couple can see each other as they work on their own projects.
It’s nice to circle back on this project and see how it has become an integral part of the overall garden.
