Peter Ilsley of Quick Base Solutions tells us how the new range differs from other pad foundations:
The system differs from its competitors in that it is designed to sit inside the floor frame of the building and it is therefore not visible once the building is fully cladded. The system has a safe working load of 5 tonnes per point and it has up to 100 mm of adjustment in the bracket for levelling, both of these are double our nearest competitors. The system sits directly onto a footing of type one hard core or compacted earth or a ground reinforcement grid if suitable.
We know from a designers point of view the fact that these pads fit within the floor frame is a very useful feature!
