Timeless Garden Rooms design and build each of their rooms to order; this means they can customise the layout and specification to each customer's requirements. We recently showcased this approach in a project where they tailored the acoustic specification to their client's needs.
Timeless Garden Rooms offer two styles of building; classic pitched roofed designs with traditional detailing and a flat-roofed contemporary design that features Larch cladding and dark grey door and window frames.
These three projects showcase how Timeless Garden Rooms can customise the size and layout for each customer.
5m x 3m garden office
This first example is a 5m x 3m garden office. The customers opted for a single glazed door on the front elevation with two casement windows on the side elevation. Casement windows like this are an excellent choice for positioning at desk height. They can easily be opened to let fresh air into the room.
The flat roof design with a maximum 2.5m height means that the contemporary range is perfect if you want to position it within 2m of a boundary.
3m x 3m garden office
Another example of Timeless Garden Rooms contemporary range designed to be a home office. This example is 3m x 3m and features French doors on the front elevation. French doors open outwards, which is lovely on a warm day. A casement window has been fitted on the side elevation.
5m x 3m hobby room
This final example will be used as a hobby room. This photo shows the contemporary range's high spec plastered and decorated interior. As we can see, the mix of the wooden floor and plastered walls are akin to a room in a new build house.
The dark grey door and window frames look as sharp inside the room as they do outside, paired with the larch cladding. The owners of this room chose bi-fold doors for the front elevation, which fold to one side, opening the space out onto the garden. They have also added a picture window on the side elevation.
These three projects show how Timeless Garden Rooms can fit the style of doors and windows that work for you.
The Larch cladding used on the exterior of the building is a low-maintenance choice. It has a natural resistance to rot and fungal attack and doesn't require painting. Larch has a honey colouring when new and will weather to a mellow silvery grey as it weathers. This colour change does not affect the durability of the timber. You could apply UV oil if you wanted to help preserve the honey colour.
When it comes to pricing, Timeless Garden Rooms believes in quoting you for the whole project upfront, so there are no hidden costs which can be the case with other garden room ranges. Each project includes the requisite insulation for a genuinely comfortable room for all-year-round use, an electrical package to suit, including certification and decor to both the inside and outside. Timeless Garden Rooms' contemporary range starts at £1,800 per square meter.
