Our studios can be clad in natural cedar for a contemporary look or finished with black-painted cedar to blend seamlessly into the surroundings. Whatever your preference, we can tailor the style and colour to complement both the landscape and your artistic vision.

Our studios provide a peaceful environment where creative ideas can flow freely, whether you are a hobbyist or a professional.
To ensure year-round comfort, our buildings are fully insulated and come with a wall-mounted electric panel heater for those colder days. The interior features plasterboarded and skimmed walls and ceilings, painted in crisp white to create a high-quality gallery-style finish. The flooring is made from top-quality, water-resistant laminate, available in a range of colours and styles to suit your aesthetic.
Flexible layout and custom features
Our studios come in a variety of shapes and sizes, allowing you to choose the perfect fit for your garden and needs. A recent example is an 8m x 4m Crusoe Deluxe Garden Studio in Somerset, featuring a five-pane aluminium bifold door, a fixed 1m x 1m skylight, and a partitioned area with a sliding pocket door.
Lighting and power sockets can be positioned to your exact requirements. Interior lighting can be controlled by a dimmer switch, while exterior lighting can be managed remotely via a smart lighting app. Electrical connection via an armoured cable to the existing supply is included as part of the package.
Built to your vision
Every Crusoe Garden Room is bespoke and handcrafted on-site, typically taking between ten to twelve working days from start to finish. We offer full flexibility in building size, as well as the placement of doors and windows, to ensure your space is perfectly suited to your workflow and natural light requirements.
Additional options include:
- Partition walls and internal doors – Choose from hinged or sliding pocket doors to create separate areas within your studio.
- Climate control – We can make provisions for air conditioning or even a log burner for added comfort.
- Connectivity – WiFi and internet cables can be installed to keep you connected.
- Outdoor enhancements – Decking areas and other custom features can be added to enhance your creative retreat.
