This beautifully designed garden room by Executive Garden Rooms delivers the perfect balance between work and relaxation. By examining the photos, it's clear that the project brief has been met with precision and style.
Sitting neatly in the garden's corner, the building measures 4.6m x 3.8m, providing a generous yet unobtrusive footprint. The clever design features a deep roof overhang on the front and left elevations, while the right-hand side sits tightly against the boundary without an overhang. This approach showcases how a bespoke garden room can be tailored to fit the specific contours of its site.
Thanks to the use of Cedral cladding—a low-maintenance, non-combustible cement-based board—the room can be positioned within 1 metre of the boundary. Cedral comes in a variety of colours, allowing for flexibility in the building's external aesthetic while ensuring durability and fire safety.
Seamless Garden Connection
The garden room has excellent indoor-outdoor connectivity. A large expanse of glazing on the front wall features sliding doors that meet in the middle and slide open widely to create an inviting central access point. Additional practical design considerations include a glazed side door, providing day-to-day convenience and forming a wraparound corner of glass, enhancing the room's connection to the garden.
Inside, a small rectangular window, placed high above the desk, adds natural ventilation and light to the workspace. Combined with the extensive glazing, this creates a bright and airy environment, perfect for productivity.
