Seamless Blending with the Environment
To ensure the new building blended seamlessly with its woodland environment, the team selected waney-edge larch cladding. This material boasts a stunning natural colour, and the layered boards add depth and texture to the structure. The Swift Unlimited team further enhanced the design with carefully crafted detailing around the angled buttresses flanking the doors.
When left untreated, the larch cladding will naturally weather to a silvery grey, which complements the surrounding trees beautifully. For a cohesive look, the clients opted for a paler grey finish on the doors and windows, custom-ordered by the Swift Unlimited team—showcasing the flexibility of their bespoke service.
A Durable, Year-Round Garden Space
The garden room measures 7m x 4m with a height of 2.95m. Built with a highly insulated SIPs core, it features a fully plastered and decorated interior, with engineered wood flooring in a rustic finish selected by the clients.
Fully equipped for year-round use, the room includes complete electrical wiring and an air conditioning system to maintain a comfortable temperature throughout the seasons.
