A 3m × 2.4m Hampton that fits a 4m × 3m corner of David’s garden, laid out so daylight falls over his left shoulder as he paints.

A studio space designed around natural light
The client, David, was looking for a purpose-built space where he could paint still life subjects directly from life – meaning good natural light was essential. The 3m x 2.4m Hampton was the ideal solution: large enough to work in comfortably, small enough to fit neatly into his 4m x 3m garden area, and designed with floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the space with daylight.
Positioning was also key. As a right-handed artist, David wanted the light to come over his left shoulder. The Hampton’s flexible design allows buyers to specify the door position, making it easy to create the perfect working layout – in this case, with the easel set opposite the entry point and left undisturbed between sessions.
