So, we have explored a lot of garden office designs over the years. The Aldesko garden office is the smallest, functional building we have seen!
Over the years, we’ve seen many innovative designs, but it's always thrilling to observe how garden room designers continue to push the boundaries. With the rising demand for micro garden office pods, we've curated a guide on super mini garden offices, focusing on buildings of 5sqm (54sqft) or less.
The Aldesko, with its external footprint of 1.69sqm (18.19sqft), easily stands out as the smallest option on our list. Its external height of 1.95m also ensures it fits comfortably under the Permitted Development rules for outbuildings, granting you ample flexibility in its placement within your garden.
Designed to be portable, the Aldesko can be dismantled and transported to another site for reassembly. This makes it a prime choice for renters—your office can move with you!
Small Design, Big on Features
The Aldesko garden office is constructed with an insulated timber frame. Its design is influenced by the multi-layer construction found in timber-framed houses, ensuring a comfortable work space regardless of the season. Complementing the robust core structure are house-quality double-glazed uPVC doors and windows.
There are several options to personalise your Aldesko office pod. You can choose the colour of the Hardie VL exterior cladding. Hardie VL is a rot and fungal-resistant cement fibre board. It's pre-coloured during production, eliminating the need for subsequent painting. You can pair your chosen cladding colour with Anthracite Grey, Black, or White for the doors and windows.
A design highlight of the Aldesko pod is the optional skylight, which, as seen in photos, bathes the room in natural working light.
Inside, the choices continue. Pick your preferred laminate flooring colour, wall paint shade, and feature wallpaper design. The Aldesko range is a testament to the fact that even small garden rooms can be brimming with character!
Additionally, the Aldesko team has crafted a desk uniquely designed for the space. It wraps ergonomically around the user, optimising surface area. You also have the choice to select the timber finish for the desk.
Plug in and Start Work
The Aldesko comes pre-wired, complete with lighting and power points. You have options for the finish of the electrical sockets and even the choice of wi-fi-controlled lighting. Simply plug the Aldesko garden office into an external power socket, and you're all set to work.
