Bringing Families Together – A Case Study
Mindful of the haunting stories of care home isolation and neglect endured throughout the challenging times of the multiple lockdowns, Swift’s clients, Rosie and David, made the bold decision to move out of their family home.
Both admitted that getting older and more arthritic meant that some day-to-day tasks were becoming more challenging. They saw their move to their new Swift Living Annexe at the bottom of the garden more of a ‘liberation’ than a sacrifice, freeing them up from “the burden of home and garden maintenance”. At the same time, this allows them both to spend more time doing what they love...spending time with family and friends, as well as more time to ‘dabble’ with art in their home art studio, literally on their new doorstep.
