What sizes does the Inspiration range come in?

There is an Inspiration size for every garden from a modest 2m x 2m up to a huge 10m x 3m. Between these options, if our counting is correct, there are 99 size configurations on the Inspiration pricing table.

How much does an Inspiration garden room cost?

Green Retreats have clear pricing tables on their website. The prices listed are for their standard specification - which is good! The 2m x 2m is currently £11,745 including VAT with the 10m x 3m model £25,245 inc VAT. These prices include the foundation system and installation. You will also need to budget for delivery and the electrical hook-up to the mains supply.

Obviously, once you start personalising the specification of your building, the price is going to alter. To guide you, Green Retreats have a configurator which allows you to tailor the specification to your needs and see the price updated as you go. This is great as you can weigh-up the implication of different design choices.

Will an Inspiration garden room be comfortable to use all year round?

The Inspiration garden room from Green Retreats is fully insulated and designed for comfortable year-round use. As well as the insulation in the floor, walls and roof build-ups, the doors and windows are double glazed.

As standard, Green Retreats supply a free-standing, oil-filled radiator with their Inspiration range. This will keep you extra warm on the coldest days of the year. There are, however, options to upgrade the heating system to wall-mounted panel heaters, underfloor heating or air conditioning.

Key features of the Inspiration garden room

A key feature of the Inspiration range is the front wall detailing. The entrance into the room is framed with a shallow portico detailing. This can either be clad in the same material as the walls, or with a contrasting fascia creating a very different look.

As standard, the exterior cladding is a Scandinavian Redwood which has a pale honey colour and knot patterning. There are other cladding options you could choose, such as the popular Cedar cladding and a black composite finish which could look great alongside the natural colours of the garden.

Customise the doors and windows on your Inspiration garden room

As standard, the Inspiration range comes with a set of French doors and one lozenge-shaped window. There are options to swap the French doors for sliding doors, slide and fold doors or bi-fold doors. There are also lots of window options to choose from. The best way to get a feel for what different door and window options will look like is to play with the Green Retreats configurator. You start by choosing the size of garden room you require, and then you can drag and drop different doors and windows where you want them on the walls.

As well as getting an idea of what the room will look like, you will also instantly see what effect your choices will have on the final cost.

Inspiration garden room interior finishes

As standard, the Inspiration range has white Melamine walls. Discreet white cover strips hide the joints between the boards. The ceiling is also white with subtle groove detail. This combination creates a room with a bright, contemporary feel.

You do have the option to upgrade the standard interior finish to a fully plastered finish. This would create a room with the feel of a new build house.

When it comes to the flooring, as standard you can choose from laminate wood of carpet tiles.

Options to customise the electrical specification

The Inspiration range is electrically wired, with power sockets, interior lighting and external lights. The standard package also includes a free-standing oil-filled radiator.

Green Retreats offer lots of options for personalising the electrical specification in your Inspiration garden room. You could upgrade to brushed aluminium fittings. Add ethernet cabling or Home Plug systems for internet connections and swap the oil-filled radiator for underfloor heating or air conditioning.
