Garden room buyers in Scotland need look no further than Dab Den, the Aberdeenshire based architectural practice offer a range of contemporary garden room solutions from the ultra-modern ‘Hub’ to extensions attached to your house.
This latest build by Dab Den features many of the design elements they are known for – sharp cladding, a wall of doors and a continuation of outside space thanks to the deck area.
This garden room in Stuartfield, Aberdeenshire is 5m x 3m and is to be used as a summerhouse (although Dab Den’s are suitable for year-round use).
The Dab Den features Siberian larch cladding with a vertical board on board detail to give the external a bit more texture than the tongue and groove board usually used. Dark grey composite decking was chosen for it’s non-slip and low maintenance properties (vital in the Aberdeenshire countryside) and aluminium bi-folding doors that when open, and with the cantilever and additional decking, almost double the floor space of the den. Perfect BBQ area.
