Garden rooms are a great way of gaining extra space, particularly in urban locations where space is at a premium, and you need to make every inch count. Bespoke garden room design really comes into its own in these locations, as was the case with this recent build by the Executive Garden Rooms team.
Background to the project
Executive Garden Rooms were approached by a client in London, because they have an unusual shaped plot. The client wanted to create a garden office that would sit in the back corner of the garden, without stealing too much space from the lawn.
Executive Garden Rooms have created a large garden office at 5.8m wide and 4m deep on the right hand side, but to accommodate the shape of the plot the left hand side is only 1.8m – this is the beauty of bespoke design you can overcome such issues, but still end up with a stylish and functional room.
Natural light has been maximized by wrapping the full length glazing around the front and side of the room, this creates a great connection between inside and outside space, as well flooding the room with natural light to work in. Additionally Executive Garden Rooms have designed in a opening roof light which is fitted with remote control and rain sensors, this offers high level light and ventilation, which we think is a great feature!
The project took Executive Garden Rooms 4 weeks to build.
