Our fortunate and discerning clients are the proud owners of a beautiful Lake District home and enjoy a setting that most people only get taste of from magazines or when on holiday.
Ian and Barbara wanted a little more space to make their home complete; a room that could provide a separate area for reading, hobbies and for family and friends when they come to stay. A garden room was the perfect solution and one which could be completed with minimal intrusion to their home and at a realistic investment level.
After a number of discussions and drawings, the final specification and design was selected and work was started just a few weeks after. A 4.5m square building was created with a small cutaway section, especially suited to the lie of the land. A shower room / WC was included and emphasis upon wide and expansive glazing to make the most of the view over the adjacent fells. A further tall window looks out from the side over a tumbling stream that runs behind this home…. idyllic!
As with all Swift buildings, this room is perfect for year-round use and is now a permanent and valuable addition to the home. An insurance-backed 10 year warranty gives peace of mind and the almost maintenance-free nature of the garden room is a great comfort.
