9m x 5m Pitched Roof Living Annexe
This 9m x 5m pitched roof living annexe is an excellent example of a bespoke Swift Unlimited project.
In this case, the clients and their daughter and son-in-law purchased a new house together, planning to build a one-bedroom self-contained annexe in the garden.
The custom layout includes an open-plan main room with a modern L-shaped kitchen, along with seating and dining areas.
This main living space has a wonderfully light feel, thanks to French doors that open onto the garden and a large skylight in the roof. The natural light reflects beautifully off the plastered and decorated walls.
The vaulted ceiling, created by the pitched roofline, gives the interior a more spacious feel compared to flat-roof designs.
From the main living room, there is access to a spacious double bedroom with an ensuite shower room.
The bedroom features a window overlooking the garden and a door leading directly outside, which is a particularly nice touch on warm summer days.
Durable Exterior Finishes
Externally, the annexe has been finished with a combination of durable, low-maintenance materials. Western Red Cedar cladding, paired with crisp white render and grey-framed doors and windows, gives the annexe a smart, contemporary appearance.
