This 4m x 3m garden office is a bespoke design by Executive Garden Rooms. It was designed around the needs of a homeworking couple and their dog who has bagged the best spot next to the feature window!
The wrap-around corner window and door configuration floods the office with natural light. This ensures that both desks have good working light.
Where many designers use a fixed window in this type of door/window arrangement, Executive Garden Rooms have fitted an opening window. This will have been more expensive than the fixed alternative but will give the owners the option to open the window to let some air into the room rather than be limited to just opening the doors.
A small desk height window has also been fitted. As we can see, this can be pushed open to let air in, but is not too big to get distracted by the view of the garden!
Rendered garden office
Externally, the garden office has a crisp, rendered finish. Executive Garden Rooms is one of the few companies who offer render finishes. It is an excellent low maintenance choice for a garden office but takes time and skill to apply, so that is why only specialist companies offer it.
The smart white render has been mixed with dark grey Cedral boards on the fascia and soffits. Cedral is a cement fibre board that is long-lasting, maintenance-free and pre-coloured, so it doesn't require painting. The dark grey finish is a good match with the grey uPVC door and window frames.

Executive Garden Rooms offer a turnkey service, whereby they handle the whole project from design to final decoration. So, when the team leave the site, your garden office will be ready to move your furniture into.
This full-service approach includes connecting the garden offices electrics to the mains supply in the house. Executive Garden Rooms offer an excellent electrical specification. In this case, it included: double power sockets, external security light, LED downlights, Cat6 data point and smoke alarm.
Executive Garden Rooms completed this 4m x 3m garden office project in two weeks.
