Standard Sizes and Customisation
The Hampton is available in three standard sizes: 2.4m x 2.4m, 3m x 2.4m, and 3.6m x 2.4m. Each size stands under 2.5m in height, providing flexibility in positioning the building under Permitted Development rules. The front elevation features a striking wall of floor-to-ceiling glazing, with the door configurable to either side or in the centre, allowing customisation to suit individual preferences.
Year-Round Comfort and Versatility
Built with a multi-layer insulated timber frame core, the Hampton offers a sturdy and well-insulated structure. The roof is made from insulated steel panels, and when paired with the double glazing, this combination ensures year-round comfort. Exterior and Interior Finishes
Sanctum Garden Studios has designed the Hampton with low-maintenance materials. There is also an upgrade option to add Western Red Cedar cladding to one or both side walls, which looks very smart with the grey finishes. The interior walls are left bare for owners to personalise as they wish, with MDF panels that are easy to paint. For flooring, the structural ply floor can be finished with laminate or carpet, allowing further customisation.
Foundation System and Installation
The Hampton range comes with its own foundation system, included in the quoted price. This adjustable steel base frame is easy to level, requires minimal ground preparation, and means there's no need for a concrete slab. Sanctum Garden Studios asks that the site is flat and clear of vegetation to simplify the installation process. Hampton Studios Can Be Built Close to a Boundary
One of the benefits of the Hampton Studio is that it can be positioned close to a boundary. With all three sizes under 15sqm in footprint, they don’t need to comply with Building Regulations. Additionally, the shallow eaves detail on the roof and Sanctum Garden Studios' installation process allow the building to fit snugly against a wall or fence, as demonstrated in these images.
Electrical Setup
Electrics are pre-fitted within the Hampton, with two double sockets, directional spot lighting, and a switch included in one of the wall panels. A junction box is provided for connection to the house mains, or alternatively, a caravan-style hook-up can be used for a more temporary setup. The full-height glazing across the front includes an outward-opening door and fixed windows, with all doors and windows being A-rated and featuring insurance-approved multi-point locks.
