Multipurpose Multi-Room Garden Room – Surrey
This bespoke, multipurpose garden room showcases the versatility and creativity of Swift Unlimited.
Designed to maximise an unusual, tiered garden space, this ‘Tetris’-shaped building consists of three specific-use rooms that work in harmony with the existing landscape.
- Home Gym: For optimal functionality, increased height was essential to accommodate gym equipment. Swift Unlimited achieved this under Permitted Development Rights by incorporating a stylish mono-pitch roof, which is both compliant and visually striking.
- Arts and Crafts Hobby Room: The central L-shaped room serves as a workshop, complete with a sink for easy clean-up and cupboards for storage. A separate entrance through sliding doors provides convenience and flexibility.
- Entertainment/Leisure Suite: With stunning views of the garden and countryside, this room features bifold doors on two walls, air conditioning, and a kitchenette. Perfect for parties, this adaptable space can also transform into a private suite for overnight guests.
An en-suite shower room adds extra convenience, while a tool store with outside access sits discreetly behind the main building.
To blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings, the clients opted for an eco-friendly sedum roof. The stylish exterior combines red Western Cedar and render, creating a distinctive and contemporary look.
