Designed around the owners’ specific needs, this L-shaped garden room, measuring 7m x 3.5m, incorporates a dedicated home office, a stylish cloakroom, and a covered swim spa area. The result is a thoughtfully designed retreat that supports both work and relaxation, offering year-round usability with minimal maintenance.
A Tailored Layout
The L-shaped design maximises the available space, ensuring a natural flow between the indoor office and the outdoor wellness area. A large set of sliding doors on the front elevation leads onto a decked area that connects the insulated home office with the covered outdoor space. The roof extends beyond the front elevation, forming a stylish canopy with recessed exterior lighting, enhancing both the aesthetic and functional appeal of the space.
A picture window offers a framed view into the swim spa area, reinforcing the connection between work and leisure zones. The outdoor section is fully bespoke, featuring a large skylight positioned above the pool, allowing the owners to gaze at the sky while enjoying a swim. Bi-fold doors have been fitted on both the front and right-hand elevations, providing flexibility to create an open-air experience on warmer days or a sheltered retreat in cooler weather. Lighting has been recessed into the roof canopy, meaning the spa can be used into the evenings.
Low Maintenance Exterior
To ensure longevity and ease of maintenance, the building is clad in composite slatted-profile cladding, which will retain its new appearance over time. The canopy ceiling and the deck have been finished in a complimentary colour shade, creating a cohesive and modern look.
High-End Interior Finishes
Inside, the garden room is finished to a high standard, creating a stylish and professional workspace. The walls are fully plastered and decorated, with recessed downlights providing a sleek and contemporary touch. The floor is finished with premium herringbone flooring, adding a sense of warmth and sophistication.
A well-proportioned cloakroom enhances the functionality of the space, complete with a toilet and vanity unit. The owners have added their own personal touch with a striking feature wallpaper, making this space uniquely theirs.
