In addition to their garden rooms, Booths Garden Studios also offer self-contained living annexes. Over the years, we have featured several of their annexes. So, we were intrigued to learn that they’ve recently added a 5.5m x 5.8m garden studio apartment to their range.

Planning Permission Not Required
Booths Garden Studios have designed this garden studio apartment to comply with the Caravan Act. As long as a relative is living in the annexe, it can be installed without the need for planning permission.
Many people think garden living annexes are just for older relatives, but they are also an excellent option for younger family members. This new design from Booths Garden Studios would be an ideal home for a son or daughter looking to save money while preparing to get on the property ladder.
Portable with Resale Value
Booths Garden Studios’ garden apartments are designed to be portable. So, if your circumstances change in the future, you could sell the annexe to someone else.

Flexible Open-Plan Layout
One of the highlights of this annexe is its open-plan layout. The kitchen and shower room are positioned along one side of the room, leaving the remaining space flexible for you to arrange as you see fit.
In their display annexe, Booths Garden Studios have created a seating area at the front and placed the bed and storage at the rear.
As shown in the photos and video, the open-plan design gives the annexe a light and spacious feel. The wide, floor-to-ceiling glazing on the front elevation further enhances this sense of space.
