Easily design your ideal garden room
The process of designing your Modern Garden Room starts with choosing the style of building you want. You do this under the 'Our Rooms' tab. There are different style options in both timber and rendered finishes. You can choose what timber is used for the external cladding and if you want timber decking or composite wood decking.
As you make your choices, the model in the main window updates to reflect the changes. You can view the model 360degrees by using your mouse and/or the buttons on the main screen.
Next, you choose the size of garden room that works best for you. If our counting is correct, there are 112 different sizes to choose from. They start at a compact 2.5m x 2m, through to a huge 10m x 5m.
As you choose your size, the model in the main window updates.
Next up, you can choose the size, number and positioning of the doors and windows. You make your initial selection in the 'Doors, Windows & Exterior Options' tab. You then turn your attention to the main screen. Click on any door or window in the model. You will see an 'i' icon in the top corner, click this and a list of options open. Make your choice, and the model and price will update. Note: You may find if you choose to big a door system for the size of the room, you will get an alert, so just choose another!.
If you click on the door or window and drag it, you can choose where it will be positioned in the wall, as you will quickly see, where you position doors and windows has a big impact on the appearance of the room.
Next, you can choose the colour of the door and window frames. You will see under the 'Colour' tab, that there is a lot of choice. Interestingly, they have Chartwell Green as an option, you don't see it offered often, but it is what we have here at Garden Room HQ - it looks great with Cedar cladding!
Under the 'Interior' tab, you can choose options for the interior of the room, including partition walls with doors. If you are looking for a soundproof garden studio, the acoustic options under this tab.
The final 'Your Estimator" tab, will give you a detailed breakdown of the specification and an estimated price for the project. You can then contact Modern Garden Rooms with any questions.
