Opening the email from Garden Spaces and seeing the photos of this garden room project truly took our breath away. This is one of the most bespoke garden room designs we’ve come across!
Garden Spaces was tasked by their client in Newquay, Cornwall, to create a garden room perched on a cliffside, maximising the breathtaking coastal views – and what a view it is!
The site alone could have deterred many garden room designers. Even before considering the complex engineering requirements, accessing the location involves navigating 180 steps down the cliff, but that didn’t stop Garden Spaces.
This project is rich with thoughtful details, like the narrow window positioned at the room’s corner to ensure uninterrupted views and a green roof that helps the structure blend seamlessly into the natural surroundings.
This build demonstrates how bespoke garden room design can be tailored to the specific site, as well as to the needs and tastes of the client.
