The Addroom® is an innovative self-build house extension option. Designed as a more versatile alternative to a conservatory, it creates a comfortable, usable space all year round. It is also a quicker and more cost-effective solution compared to a traditional brick extension.
Flexible Sizes and Configurations

Thanks to its glazed front elevation, the Addroom® connects beautifully with outdoor spaces. The front wall is customisable with a mix of doors, fixed windows, and opening windows, all crafted from uPVC frames featuring multi-point locking systems for security.
Customisable and Durable Finishes
You can choose from a selection of external wall finishes to suit your style:
- Contemporary grooved finish
- Red brick effect
- Grey brick effect
All options are made from durable, low-maintenance composite materials with a long lifespan.
Internally, the walls are finished with Fermacell boards, a fireproof material that can be painted or wallpapered, allowing you to personalise the room’s interior to your taste.
A Conservatory Alternative
Unlike traditional conservatories with glazed roofs, which can become uncomfortably hot in summer and too cold in winter, the Addroom® features a solid, insulated roof structure. Combined with insulated multi-layer floor and wall panels and double-glazed doors and windows, the Addroom® offers far better temperature control for year-round comfort.
DIY Extension Option
The Addroom® is delivered in easy-to-assemble panels, making it suitable for competent DIYers. It is reported that two people can build a 3m x 3m Addroom® in just 2-3 days.
For the foundation, the Addroom® can be installed on an existing solid base, such as a concrete slab or paving stones. The pressure-treated timber floor frame comes with a ten-year warranty and is protected against rot and fungal attack.
Low Maintenance Design
The Addroom® requires minimal maintenance. The uPVC doors and windows can be kept clean with a simple soapy washdown, while the brick-effect walls are crafted from WPC (Wood Plastic Composite), a durable, low-maintenance material.
