A Room in the Garden has pushed the boundaries of outdoor living once again, unveiling the world’s first garden room with its own external weather system.
This innovative new feature allows homeowners to control the weather around their garden room within a 17-metre radius – transforming how we enjoy our outdoor spaces. From sunshine on demand to bespoke cloud cover and even personalised rainfall, this breakthrough promises year-round enjoyment, regardless of the season.
The system offers:
- Sunshine on Demand – set your garden to a steady 24°C, perfect for winter BBQs.
- Personalised Rainfall – a light drizzle to cool off in summer or set the scene.
- Cloud Control – from crisp blue skies to cosy overcast afternoons.
- Breeze Settings – dial in the perfect summer breeze.
Designed to work seamlessly with smart home assistants, users can even issue voice commands such as “Alexa, set the garden to Mediterranean summer” or “Hey Google, bring on the snow.”
“This is all about extending the comfort of the garden room to the outdoors,” says Lukas Brzozowski, director at A Room in the Garden. “British weather is no longer a barrier.”
Availability & Pricing
A Room in the Garden’s external weather system will be offered as a premium upgrade, available exclusively to clients commissioning a bespoke garden room. Due to the complexity of the technology and high expected demand, initial installations will be limited to select locations across the UK, with a phased rollout planned over the coming year.
Pricing will be tailored to each project, depending on the desired level of weather control and integration with smart home systems. Pre-orders are now open, with consultation slots available from 1st April 2025.
