This customer approached Swift Unlimited to design a large garden room that could adapt to multiple uses over the years. Situated within expansive grounds, the design team prioritised maximising the beautiful views through thoughtful glazing.
To enhance the building’s distinctiveness, Swift Unlimited’s designers incorporated striking triangular glazing that flanks each side of the patio door system. This system features three 2-metre-wide sliding doors on the front elevation, which run smoothly on a track, allowing any combination of doors to open effortlessly. The taller-than-standard doors and windows add to the unique aesthetic, blending style with functionality.
Flexible Interiors for Future-Proof Use
The garden room also features a compact shower room and kitchenette, enabling versatile use now and in the future. The kitchenette includes a sink and a built-in microwave, combining practicality with sleek design.
As with all Swift Unlimited projects, the interior boasts a high specification. Fully plastered and professionally decorated, the space is finished with a premium vinyl floor covering, chosen for its classic look, durability, and practicality.
Personalised Features for Comfort and Style
To elevate the experience further, the customer added several bespoke features, including remote-controlled lighting, a Sonos sound system, and a professionally installed corner wood-burning stove that complies with Building Regulations. These features ensure the space is as functional as it is stylish.
