The team at Those Garden Rooms have just completed a stylish multifunction garden office. Designed for a small company the design brief was to incorporate separate spaces for a reception, office and conference room, the brief was complicated by needing three separate foundation types as the site changed from concrete to loose gravel. The clients also gave Those Garden Rooms a short build time of just 10 days!
Those Garden Rooms used their knowledge and skill to fulfil the customers brief and overcome the site conditions, the building was also finished in the allotted time. This multifunction building has a fully glazed frontage consisting of 4.5 metre bi-fold doors and three floating double glazed units. Glass is a key element of the design and the separate internal areas have been divided by double glazed units, the flow of natural light is enhanced by large roof lights. The garden office has been clad in western red cedar, and the angled roof and fascia with external down lighters adds extra interest. The large decking area creates a welcoming entrance and will provide another useable space in summer.
The modern feel is continued inside with plastered and painted walls, down lighters and carpeted flooring. Those Garden Rooms have created a stylish, multifunction working environment for their client which is right on the brief!
