Buying a garden room should be an enjoyable and straightforward process as you work through the different steps from initial contact through to the completion of the building. It is always good for us to hear when a garden room buyer has had an excellent customer service and have ended up with the building they dreamed of. We were, therefore, delighted to hear about the great, straightforward service of Bridge Garden Rooms. We will let their customer talk for themselves before we have a look at the building the Bridge team created:
I first contacted Bridge Garden Rooms in June 2016. I was looking to build an eco-studio in my back garden which was to be used as a full gym as it is always something I had wanted to do. After a big house rebuild in the second half of 2015 which ran into 2016 I was wary of tradesman in general and needed a convenient hassle free solution. After speaking to a number of companies in the south east I felt the offerings seemed to all be very similar and there seemed to be very little flexibility. It just seemed a bit off the shelf. After further research on Google I came across Bridge Garden Rooms. I got a really good feeling when I spoke to them. The information was presented very quickly and simply. It’s a small company and all the staff seemed to know each other well and were all willing to help me get a quotation to approve and which suited my requirements. Within 24 hours I had approved the design, approved the price (a reasonable price I might add) and provisionally agreed an installation date. It was all laid out in front of me, what my end product would look like, what was included and what would be extras if I went down that route. Within 48 hours I had paid a deposit and a build date was confirmed. Nearer to the time they contacted me and advised me of the plan. Their build team arrived on the day they said they would arrive and then went about building me my gym. Within 2.5 weeks it was all complete. A lovely cedar wood eco studio fully built, in the place it was meant to be built with electrics, flooring, double doors, windows, all ready to go. I was not chased for payment until I was totally happy with the end result. I am really happy with the end product and have had lots of positive comments from friends and family. Thanks to Paul and the team at Bridge Garden Rooms for their efforts.
Cedar Garden Gym Building
Bridge Garden Rooms and their client have worked together to create a large home gym building. The building will be suitable to use all year round thanks to the structural insulated panel (SIP’s) which creates a highly insulated core envelope for the building. This is a very quick building system which will arrive on-site in modules which slot together and the garden room can take shape in just a few hours.
We like how the doors and windows have been laid out. Outward opening French doors in the middle with good sized picture windows on either side. This creates a modern look and will really frame views of the garden. The doors and windows are UPVC Anthracite Grey which is the standard option on a Bridge Garden Room. Natural shading has been created over the windows and doors with a 600mm roof canopy.
The Western Red Cedar cladding has been fixed vertically and this project really shows the richness of the colour of Cedar cladding when it is new. Cedar cladding contrasts well with Anthracite joinery as these photos show.
Internally the room has the feel of a room in a new build house with commercial grade laminate flooring and plastered & decorated walls and ceiling. Bridge Garden Rooms offer a comprehensive electrical package with LED downlights, ample power sockets and heating.
