Smart Modular Buildings have recently shared a video of a spacious garden gym they created for one of their clients.

An example of their popular Ultra Range, it is taller than the average garden room to allow for the extra height needed for using gym equipment. Not all garden room companies offer the option of increasing the roof height of their buildings, but the SMART team are experienced hands with a wide range of options for their clients to personalise the design of their building.
The Ultra Range has become a favourite with buyers thanks to its floating Cedar wall panels on a black framework. The portico detail on the front elevation adds a lot of character, as we can see in the video. Exterior grade downlights are fitted in the black lined portico which will create a stylish curtain of light down the front of the building.
Garden gym with lots of glass
With Smart Modular Buildings, you can choose the style and layout of the glazing. You can mix solid wall panels and glazing as you wish. In this case, the client decided to mix long fixed pane windows with a set of bi-fold doors, to create a wide expanse of glazing, that offers great views of the garden as the owner's workout.
On the rear wall, a rectangular opening window has been fitted, which can be easily pushed open to ventilate the room. It is a wise design choice to add an opening window like this in a garden gym.
Light modern interior
The interior of the gym has a light modern feel. This is thanks to the combination of the glazing and the white walls and ceiling option. The customers chose SMART's white walling system with discreet white cover strips. This has been mixed with a practical laminate floor.
Brushed steel switches have been fitted in the gym building. Small design details like this add up.
The gym has been fitted with an air conditioning system, so the owners will be able to set the perfect temperature for their workout, all year round.
