Sanctum Garden Studios recently had a Scottish customer wasn’t deterred by the fact that he needed planning permission for his home gym – the studio was to be positioned in the front garden of a listed building (studios in the front garden need planning permission as do studios in the garden of a Listed Building!).
Everything the planners needed was supplied by Sanctum enabling a quick and seamless process. The studio design was tweaked with the cladding being fitted horizontally and the French doors opening inwards. In addition, a large picture window, a slim vertical window and a long horizontal window with an opener were fitted.
To ensure there will be plenty of heat in the winter and cooling in the summer, an Air-Source Heat Pump was also added. Sanctum report that the customer is thrilled with his new gym!
