Last week we featured the launch of Rotunda Living the new company supplying quality round garden rooms, today we will have a look at the design features and specification of the range.
The Rotunda range of round garden rooms come in four standard sizes – 3m, 4m, 5m and 6m internal diameters, bespoke sizes and configurations can also be built.
The beauty of round garden rooms is that they look great from every angle, and the long windows frame different vies of your garden.
Externally the Rotunda Living round garden room is quite striking, the larch batten and board cladding gently follows the curves of the room and has a life expectancy in excess of 50 years, the roof with glazed dome looks good from every direction – it must be an attractive feature at night when the lights are glowing through it! The doors and windows are hand crafted in Douglas Fir and feature performance argon filled double glazing.
Part of the ethos at Rotunda Living is to create eco friendly garden rooms, so the building is well insulated with 200mm of Eco Wool Insulation which achieves a u-value of less than 0.2 throughout.
If this round garden room is striking externally its stunning internally, the floor is finished in eco friendly and extremely hard-waring bamboo flooring, the tongue an groove walls are finished in classy Farrow & Ball colours, but its the ceiling which hits you, the exposed timbers leading to the glazed dome are stunning.
These garden rooms are electrcally wired with sockets, lighting and data cables and features such as log burners and shower rooms can be designed in.
The Rotunda Living package includes the foundation system, installation, a 10 year warranty and a Chain of Custody certificate proving that all timbers come from sustainable sources.
This is a exciting addition to the garden room market, for more information visit the Rotunda Living website.
