Another guest blog, this time from Iain at Booths Garden Studios:
Iain here from Booths Garden Studios.
Hope you are well.
Just a quick note to say that due to the increases in the price of Steel, our QC Garden Studio prices will be going up. Sorry about this but unfortunately there’s not much I can do about it. I’m not sure by how much at this moment but it will be at least 5% or possibly as much as 10% due to the high quantity of Steel used in the QC Studio.
The Plasticoated Leatherette Galvanised Steel used in the QC exterior walls, is what helps make it a truly zero maintenance building, (unlike the timber rooms out there claiming to be “no ongoing maintenance”,) so we can’t use an inferior material, or it would lose the major advantage that all our QC Studios have.
If you are on the verge of making a decision, I may be able to hold our present prices till the end of the month (May 2010), since we will have some stock at the old prices, but you would have to let me know asap.
You can see the present price list here
Our Timber prices hopefully won’t be affected, but like ALL Garden Rooms that have timber in them, they are not Zero Maintenance, not matter what other company’s may say.
