Most people buy one garden room. Some people buy a large building which they divide into multiple rooms. But, it is unusual, though not unheard of to buy two separate garden studios and position them side by side.
A recent Sanctum Garden Studios customer ordered two garden studio buildings to create ‘his and her’ studios and placed them side by side to create the appearance of one connected unit. Having chosen two buildings from Sanctum’s Hampton Studio Range, we can see this is a cost-effective way of creating a two room studio on a modest budget.
The Hampton Garden Studio comes in two standard sizes – 2.4m x 2.4m and 3m x 2.4m and the customers chose one of each size for this project. Having them installed with the roof overhangs meeting, so while there is a small gap between the side walls of the two studios, they work as one.
The Hampton Garden Studio is a standard design with few options to customise it. You do get to choose the positioning of the door within the glazed front elevation, these customers, for instance, went for the centre of the wall but could have opted for one side or the other.
There are a few optional extras on offer too, such as exterior lights. These customers chose to have exterior lights fitted on each studio, which will create a nice curtain of light along the front elevation.
The 2.4m x 2.4m studio costs £5,495, with the 3m x 2.4m studio costing £6,495, so this two-room studio setup with its extras came in at around the £13,000 which is impressive.
