Hudson Garden Rooms have sent over details of their new flagship garden room The Hudson Garden Room and it’s really rather unusual.
The Hudson Garden Room is unique in the market place because it is arch shaped. The Hudson Garden Room comes in a standard size of 3.1m wide x 2.8m deep and 2.4m high meaning it falls within the permitted development height restrictions, but the Hudson can be built in bespoke sizes too.
As standard The Hudson Garden Room is clad in Cedar and the different colours in the boards combined with the unique shape of the garden room create a visually attractive finish. Cedar is a low maintenance timber, it starts out a reddish brown and will weather to a silver grey, and cedar has a natural resistance to fungal and insect attack. For a different look why not consider the upgrade option of oak cladding.

The Hudson Garden Room is insulated and lined internally with plywood. The garden room has double Georgian style outward opening doors on the front elevation as standard, but bespoke designs could have fully glazed front walls and even Velux windows.
The Hudson Garden Room comes with brushed steel internal and external lighting and there are options for other electrical installations.
The Hudson Garden Room takes two weeks to prepare in the workshop and about three days to install on site. The standard 3.1m x 2.8m model costs £5,800 inc VAT ex works, and fully installed with electrical hook-up to the house and a concrete base costs £7,000 inc VAT.
If you would like to see this unique garden room before you buy Hudson Garden Rooms have a show site in Brentwood and will be exhibiting at the Suffolk County Garden Show, Norfolk County Show and the Southend Flower Show over the next couple of months.
