Composite garden rooms are a modular building system made up of layers of composite wood and insulation. The two materials are bonded together like a sandwich with the composite wood layers forming the interior and exterior finishes of the walls. The composite wood is available in four colours.
These panels are supplied in manageable sections and slot into posts to create the core structure. There is a video on the Garden Rooms Online website showing the build process.
Garden Rooms Online offer the option of uPVC doors and windows or higher spec Aluminium finishes.
The roof is covered in an EPDM membrane which is supplied in one piece to avoid leaks.
Two ranges, five sizes
Garden Rooms Online offer two styles of composite garden room. Each style is available in five standard sizes ranging from 3.3m x 2.3m up to 7.9 x 3.9m.
Short lead times
At three to four weeks, the lead time for a self-build kit is relatively short. You will need to organise a concrete slab base before installing the building itself.
If you live in the High Wycombe area, the Garden Rooms Online team offer a full installation service.
Prices start at £7299 for a self-build kit and £11,200 fully installed including the base.
