It is always fun to hear how people plan to use their garden room building. This Blyss Garden Rooms contemporary design will be a home office by day, but it will be a DJ studio in the after-hours!
We recently introduced you to the work of Blyss Garden Rooms. They offer a bespoke garden room design service, specialising in contemporary style buildings.
This multifunctional garden office was built in Pinner, Greater London. It is 4.3m wide by 3.2m deep. The roof extends beyond the front wall to create a canopy detail with narrow step/veranda below. This creates a welcoming, sheltered entrance into the office.
SIP's garden office
Blyss Garden Rooms utilise SIP's - structural insulated panels for the core structure of their buildings. This system provides a highly insulated envelope. SIP's also offer a reasonable level of acoustic insulation, so the neighbours should not be too aware of the DJ sessions!
The Bylss team have made a timelapse video of the project. It's nice to see they keep a tidy site as they work!
