Last week we sent out a message to our mailing list asking “Are you still looking for a garden room?” and we got a great response from Carey Marks who kindly attached some photos of the garden studio he had built.
Carey runs a successful design business from his studio called Scarlet Design, and from these photos its ovious he’s created a great creative space.
Carey used The Garden Room Guide as a source of reference when thinking about buying a garden room, and eneded up going down the custom design (bespoke) route, ultimately tailoring the building to his needs and design tastes.
In our opinion this garden room is very successful, yes its obviously quite a large building, but has several areas with distinct uses, an area to work, an area to relax and also includes a cloakroom and kitchen area, making the building self contained.
The building is flooded with natural light thanks to several windows, on different elevations including clever glazing sections in the pitched roof.
We are actually quite envious of Carey’s work environment!
