Cotsmill Garden Offices offer two distinctive garden offices, a traditional office which features a pitched tiled roof, and a flat roofed contemporary garden office. Each building is built to order so the customer has flexibility in choosing the positioning of the doors and windows, and the level of specification.
Cotsmill Garden Offices are built using a traditional timber framing method; the frames are glued and screwed together, rather than nailed as this produces a stronger frame. The timber frame incorporates layers of insulation and important breathable membranes which prevent the inward movement of moisture but let condensation escape. The traditional garden office is clad externally with treated feather edge boards fixed horizontally, while the contemporary garden office has vertical tongue & groove pine cladding, Cotsmill offer durable, low maintenance cedar cladding as an optional upgrade.
The pitched roof of the traditional garden office is finished in asphalt shingles as standard but Cotsmill offer cedar shingles as an upgrade. The roof of the contemporary garden office is finished in hard wearing PVC coated box profile galvanized steel sheeting.
Internally Cotsmill Garden Offices are lined with white coated MDF which creates a light and airy feel, the floor has light coloured carpet as standard but customers can specify other finishes as an upgrade. All garden offices are fully wired electrically with consumer unit, lights and at least 3 double sockets depending on the size of the building.
The doors and windows are British Standard house quality and are double glazed, door fittings are brass and the 5 leaver lock comes with two keys.
Lead time on a Cotsmill Garden Office is 2 – 6 weeks from receipt of order, and takes approximately 3 days to install on site. Prices start at £6,495 plus delivery for a 2m x 3m garden office.
