Contemporary Garden Rooms have recently completed this lovely new classroom in time for the new school term, and it looks set to be an inspiring learning space for the pupils.
The classroom has a real connection with the outside, the bifold doors opening up the front wall, leading onto a covered veranda area where the children can sit and work. Contemporary Garden Rooms have added bug and bird boxes so there will be no shortage of nature available for examination.
This classroom has a footprint of 7m x 7m and complies fully with Building Regulations, the school chose Thermowood cladding as opposed to the popular Western Red Cedar because it was more economical and because it has a more uniform colour – Thermowood is no less durable though, the timber is treated at high temperatures meaning it has a long maintenance free life span, as it ages it will mellow to a silver colour which is totally in-keeping with the natural feel of this classroom.
