My Eco Space has become specialists in designing high specification garden gym buildings. They work closely with each of their clients to design the layout and specification of the gym around their needs.
Other gym projects by My Eco Space:
This example, for instance, which sits within a beautiful garden, is a substantial 60 square meters. Built using Eco SIP’s panels the room will be comfortable to use all year round. My Eco Space has designed the floor specification around the equipment that will be used. Gym equipment is very heavy, and a standard garden room floor might not be up to the weight – this is something that many buyers don’t consider.
The foundation system was also designed around the intended use and the site. My Eco Space makes use of screw pile systems for their buildings. The spacing of the piles was calculated specifically for the size and use of the building. The back of the site dropped away too, by a significant 300mm, so longer screw piles were used along the rear of the building to level out the base.
My Eco Space also tailored the interior of the gym around their customer’s needs and ideas. Rather than use a laminate flooring, a specialist rubber gym flooring was laid. The plastered and decorated walls and ceiling have been mixed with a feature wall of floor to ceiling mirrors. Not only are these useful for watching yourself as you workout, but they also reflect both light and space, making the room seem even bigger. It’s a nice touch that you can enjoy the views of the garden even when you have your back to the doors!
My Eco Space’s customer chose to install an air conditioning system so that they will have easy control over the temperature in the room, all year round.
This bespoke garden gym building cost around £70,000 fully installed.
