Bathstone Garden Rooms have chosen to build their garden rooms with insulated traditional timber frames as they feel these create a more durable garden room with longer life expectancy than buildings built with structural insulated panels.
The commissioning process starts with a free; no obligation site survey which takes around 45 minutes and Bathstone promise no ‘hard sell’, this survey allows the Bathstone team the chance to see what you want from your garden room and to assess the site. During this visit the designer will be able to advise you on the location of your garden room and planning permission, they will also show you examples of garden rooms they have built, and talk about the pros and cons of different design features. At the end of this meeting they will have a good idea of what you want from your garden room and how you want it to look. Following the site survey Bathstone Garden Rooms will prepare 3D illustrations, floor plans, specification and a quote for the project.
Because all Bathstone Garden Rooms are bespoke it is difficult to list a specification here but garden rooms are fully insulated for comfortable year round use and design features include recessed lights both internally and externally, laminate or carpet flooring, multipoint locking systems on the doors and fully plastered and painted interiors.
Projects normally take around six weeks from order and are built in the Bathstone Garden Rooms workshop by trained carpenters who will then complete it on site meaning they know the building intimately and have pride in the finished project – Bathstone do not use subcontractors so a continuity in service is maintained.
We like the fact that Bathstone Garden Rooms maintain a responsibility to their garden rooms, you shouldn’t experience any problems with your garden room but if you find something like the doors rubbing Bathstone will come back and rectify the problem, this promise is backed up with a Consumer Protection Association 10 year warranty for total peace of mind.
