Bathstone garden rooms have sent through details of this contemporary garden room which they have recently built in London.
Built at the bottom of a London garden, typical in size to many, this 6m x 4m garden room was designed to fit across the width of the garden, leaving a path to a small area behind for storage of the more unsightly items usually found in a garden!
At 2.8m high it required planning permission, which went through without any problems, just the normal 8 week delay. (Many Bathstone customers opt to keep roof heights at 2.5m and build as a permitted development).
Windows and doors are powder coated aluminium and the exterior cladding is Western Red Cedar.
Initially this contemporary garden room was planned for the family’s two young children, but before Bathstone had finished they had installed a large high quality TV with excellent surround sound, a corner had been designated for the wine rack and fridge, and it became apparent that the children were staying indoors leaving the peace and quiet of the garden to the parents!
