We have written a lot over the last few years about the Hampton Range by Sanctum Garden Studios; it’s become one of the most popular small garden rooms on the market thanks to its attractive price point, starting at £5,495. People are using their Hampton buildings for all sorts of uses, but we are noticing a particular trend with artists.
Grahame, one of Sanctum Garden Studios clients, chose the larger of the two Hampton Range studios which is 3m x 2.4m for use as an art studio. Grahame works at scale with many of his works being 8ft (2.4m) wide, so the solid rear wall of the Hampton Range is an ideal for hanging them.
The Hampton Range has a fully glazed front elevation which floods the room with natural light, ideal for artists. You have the choice when ordering your room on the positioning the door – left, right or centre.
As standard, the Hampton Range has a low maintenance grey exterior wall finish. You have the option of customising the solid walls with western red cedar panels. You also have the option of adding an exterior light, ideal for winter evenings.
Internally the room is a blank canvas – excuse the pun! The MDF finish is ideal for taking the paint colour of your choice, although some people leave it in its natural state which looks good too. You have the option of specifying a laminate floor.
