Teenagers den in the garden

Every parent of teenage children knows they want their ‘own’ space where they can entertain friends and escape the adults, and a garden room at the bottom of the garden is an ideal way of creating a teenage den!

Booths Garden Studios have recently built a large 15ft x 18ft den for three teenage lads which they are using as a games room, the video below looks at some of the main features of the build:

The glazed front elevation floods the room with natural light, and with two sets of double doors the room should be quite cool on the hottest days, as a back up we spy an air conditioning unit which can be used to control the temperature all year round, meaning that the room is usable in the depths of winter too.

Here’s what parents Andrew & Julie have to say about the project:

I just wanted to thank you and your superb team for the excellent work they have done in installing our studio, they are great people and worked in quite difficult, wet conditions, without complaint,to deliver to us our superb new building in three days, amazing!,thank you Tom,Fred,Rob,Alan,Alex Jnr & John and not to forget Brian, the ‘Godfather’ behind the scenes! It has been a pleasure dealing with you and I thank you for your patience as we changed our minds a number of times as to the design, must have driven you mad! We will be recommending you to as many people as we can & hope this leads to more business and therefore many more happy customers.
