Space & Light Structures

Today we’d like to introduce you to the work of Space & Light Structures, whose website says they create “unconventional wood and glass structures for your house and garden” and as these images of a garden pod commission show, their design style is quite different to other garden rooms we showcase on this website.

Space & Light Structures create modern timber and glass buildings which are flooded with natural light and create valuable extra living space. All commissions are bespoke meaning each project is different and tailored to the garden and needs of the owner.

Space & Light Structures mix floor to ceiling glazed panels with timber panels and large door units. The buildings are fully insulated and underfloor heating can be incorporated to maintain the clean lines of the building.

As with this project, shed areas can be discreetly incorporated into the building, as can deck areas to create a complete indoor / outdoor living spaces.

The owner of this garden room says this about the project:

I was looking for a space that would be versatile, and change with us, as our families requirements changed. Space and Light Structures offered me a bespoke design that met my vision and budget, not just my request for a room. The project was delivered on time, in budget and was issue free. Our ‘pod’ as we affectionally call it, is now our favourite room in the house. We could not have hoped for more!
Ann, Elmbridge borough

We are particularly taken with the way the full length glazing panels appear to be frameless, creating a very minimalist finish.

This is a very successful garden room project! For more information visit the Space & Light Structures website where you can see other examples of their bespoke home improvements, or give the team a call on 01932910104
